Before last nights Q&A program, I thought Bobkat was a crazy kat......that opinion hasn't greatly changed, although he did have make a valid point about the suicide rate of farmers as a result of tariff reductions etc. A truly civilised country would value its people above apparent financial benefits gained by economic rationalism.
However after todays episode, Oakeshott moved along side the crazykat.
What a dreadful speech and an appalling thought process.
That being said when I see the quality of local government councillors, I am not that suprised about who we get as federal members ie Oakeshott and Bobkat.
Windsor on the other hand has demonstrated (thus far), that he has a level of intelligence and sensitivity that I expect will bring meaningful input into the future direction of this country.
