db76 -
no Katter is as bad as the other two.
His son is set to take over his seat - so what KAtter did was vote Liberal so he could safely conserve the seat for the Katter family hold on it over the years.
Pure and simple.
Self interest ruled - and this applies to the three of them.
Oakeshott should change his name to shotgun - spraying all over the place.
Worst of all!! Windsor, I keep saying, and have since I found out, is the first cousin of Bruce Hawker, one of the top movers and shakers of the Labor Party! HAwker is not just some little back room LAbor Hack - he is a major player - to the degree that Shorten is, or moreso! Windsor should have excused himself from this process, because of that relationship, at the very outset!!
I then ask, was the Windsor vote fair and just under the law and the Constituion?
What's the difference between this conflict of interest, and that of the GG and Bill Shorten? None!
I have only just caught up with the fact that Gillard has virtually bought her Prime Ministership, wth 10 BILLION of OUR moneys - all going to these 2! Gee she's good at throwing money around to buy votes. No matter that it;s other people's - just chuck it around like confetti! Did WE vote for THAT!! With none of it going to the big States' hospitals or other needy causes.
Not one stitch of a penny for Victoria, or our major hospitals here - just bribe money - and htis white elephant broadband now to start off in the bush.
Katter will retire. His son will stand for his seat.
Windsor, it's said, is to retire.
Their futures are rosy - and they don't give a darn about Australia, or any of us.
As to Oakeshott - well, what I think of him is unprintable here. And HOW is it that he will be a Minister? He is NOT of the Laborr Party. I suggest he join them forthwith - it would be far less hypocritical - and unconstitutional!
And windsor should too. He;s been with Labor from day 1. Never a good word for the Liberals for the whole two weeks.
This is NOT a democracy - when your leaders start buying votes - buying their way into power with Billions in pork barrelling - (AFTER an election!!!) - you know the Nation's in real trouble.
I hear Abbott did the same with wilike - NO! Wilkie asked Abbott for $1 million to beat Julia's first offer - then knocked it back.
The whole scene is pathetic!
Julia and Tim in the Lodge. Gosh that's domestic bliss.
Costing US a lot though.
