Windsor has made no secret that he will be using this flukey position of power for personal agendas.
Can't blame him.
His time is nearly over so he wants a legacy in his electorate to be remembered for and maybe a statue and a shrine lol.
Both Oakshott and Windsor feared another election because Libs would most likely win (Windsors words)and he wouldn't get the NBN that he wanted.
Fact is there would have been greater stability in government if they went the way of the Libs so the stability comment is a furphy.
Purely self interest was their motivating factor and at least he isn't trying to pretend it was anything else.
Once the NBN gets signed off watch these two suddenly become more right leaning to hold up the new labor/green alliance in the senate.
