Hi Maaze Aussie garlic is hard to come by and expensive when you can, sadly.
If you value your health dont buy the perfect looking white ones in supermarkets, they are all grown in China in human excrument(Spelling/Poo) then bleached to make it look shop perfect.
Apparently the purple strain you see available wont grow in China so possibly be better for you.
You can grow your own in a hot dry enviroment, Old wives tale maybe but plant on the shortest day of the year and harvest around the longest day of the year.
