Each JV partner takes their share of product... MLX for example sells a lot of their concentrate to smelters in Malaysia and Thailand.. the JV partner (Yunnan Tin) has their own smelters in China where I'm sure their share of sales go. So the selling costs relate to MLX's sales (not JV expense).
The swings and roundabouts on why not 50/50 is it will just be one boat load is MLX and the next is Yunnan and so on.. if you get to the end of reporting period - you can have a discrepancy because of how that works.
