However, my question assumes clear and undisputed intent by the three amigo's to set up a company called Reliance.
Amongst some claims, untruths and counter claims, the fact that it remained unregistered is one of the issues. The fact that the judge deemed it a 'non existant entity' as a result of this, is another. It could be argued that the three were acting in an informal partnership, designed to set up a company at the time the licences were signed over. As to the legal status of that ....?
It's moments like these that I wish I had paid attention in my 'Commercial Principles' class.
