I dont actually know what would happen to PLLs substantial holding in SYA, though I assume if liquidators were appointed they would be forced to sell it on market. As such it would drive SYA down by 6%+ of our stock being put on the market to fire sell it.

All the workers at NAL would not simply sit on there hands if they are made redundant, so we would have a workforce that would be resentful towards its now no longer operating employer. Would they simply come back after the lithium market slow down? Unlikely, perhaps a few but most will move onto other opportunities. This will also have word of mouth reputational damage to SYA and indeed SYQ. The government would definitely re-evaluate if SYQ will long term be capable of fulfilling its commitments for the purchase of NAL when they simply close doors during harder working environments.

Wouldnt it also be the 3rd closure of NAL? So we would be doing the same thing that has been done many times over.

Management atm should be putting together a damage control plan ie no further drilling, cutting back any overtime to push NAL output, assessing cost cutting options in the event this falls further. An assessing the project under 1000USD per ton all the way down to the last lithium low price point. IMHO if they arent doing the above project cashflow projections with lower revenue and to evaluate funding options should the need arise, then perhaps someone else should be running the company. Id imagine they are doing these things. I am pretty sure either Loui or another holder brought up sub 1000USD per ton at the AGM and what will happen if it does get to that.

SYA should also benefit from tax credit of 10% of production costs from 2024 onwards. Thi was signed into law last august
