The IPP I spoke to had already investigated the ORC units, as they were looking at buying and installing the units at their sites. Someone has to pay for the machines so the returns have to justify the costs even if its ERJ.
The IPPs don't have to worry about marketing or arranging a PPA as they already have a captured market and a PPA in place. All they do is instal a unit and sit back and collect the profits. So why don't they do it? They already have a B.O.O business model so another small capital cost will make no difference.
