I’ve been interested watching NEU trading patterns in the New Year; it appears that certain accumulators have managed to gain some traction to enable the movement of the SP in the directions they need to accumulate more shares from the not so tight hands. The trend appears to be to drip feed small amounts into the market during the morning up to 2 hours before the close and then when the sell queue is such that there are enough available at a level below the opening price they start hoovering and you see the SP recover ground, just another way to accumulate when you’ve got the clout behind you, stay tough and the ploy fails, unfortunately ASX investors aren’t tough enough.
IMHO we’re still well south of our true worth, let’s wait till the 4c comes in a bit later this month.
