That's correct. I had some other info on uptake etc, but cant find it. I do recall not all patients go on it [But assume most do] also 14% discontinue it's use due to side effects.
Riluzole, extends life expectancy by up to 9 months so any drug that replaces Riluzole as the preferred treatment would need to extend that. Any increase in life expectancy would result in a similar increase in revenue, as they continue taking the drug longer. That's assuming similar cost of treatment of-course.
