Not a holder yet but starting to get fomo the more research I do, I'm confident on the size of resource, scale will not be an issue and likely will dwarf most globally.
ARU's flow sheet below, do you think we'll need something similar, likely with less intense crush/grind and no acid bake as prelim recoveries of 80-90% have already been proven in simple leach solution (40kg/t @ 70deg)?
What I really like is the location - ARU is in the middle of nowhere and have $1.7Bn capex - Mt Isa already has everything set up to go so the capex requirement would be significantly less (half or more depending on the flow sheet).
Mt Isa is a T1 mining destination:
- 1200 strong Skilled mining workforce that are likely about to lose their jobs
- Smelter and more importantly an acid plant
- Gas pipeline and grid electricity
What am I missing before buying in?
