The conference is actually quite different to what you’ve described. This is the most high profile health conference in the US and it’s by invitation only.
All the major biotechnology investors and funds will attend. IXHL have a block of back to back meetings that can be filled by funds and family office groups seeking to meet directly with the company. In other words, these are qualified groups who are specifically interested in meeting with the company one on one. My understanding is that every meeting opportunity has been booked out.
There will obviously be some informal mingling (networking) but the essence is a very efficient, formal and yet intimate opportunity for the company to promote itself to qualified professionals who are actually seeking to understand the company better. It’s a fantastic opportunity and one that simply does not exist in Australia that I can see.
