Until you put REEO into perspective for China you will not be able to understand REEO prices because China controls over 80 % of market. In 2022 China GDP was US $ 18 trillion. It is expected to grow this year by 3~ 5% Through the Looking Glass: China’s 2023 GDP and the Year Ahead | Rhodium Group (rhg.com) Yes critical sections are in trouble but if you only look at flash news articles you do not get a true picture. So what is The oxide part of China's business worth?I could not find it broken out any where, if any one can I would like to see info Lynas right now has 8% of world market for oxide China just over 80% so lets say China is 12 X Lynas. In 2022 Lynas did 920M in revenue It looks like they will do less that AU $500 M this year which is US $335M / 18,000M says REEO is about 0.02% of China GDP. They know as long as control in this area is absolute, they can control Manufactuing things like Cars, Wind, tools and appliances and this is what they want. They can do this by hurting growth of REE compitition by keeping prices of lower level vertical products of REE low. JMO China is in no hurry to raise prices. I would like to hear with detail why you think they might be.To both of the above I would be curious how large you think tariffs should be. How they would impact start up REE companies. In 2018 Tariffs went up 6X what did you see that do. Here is an article that ex[;oms history. JMO I think China would just lower prices to help compensate for Tarif
