Though i see the reasoning....to me this can't be particularly logical.

If Nopta has recommended to decline....then it will have been announced ( already ). It would be easy for the Gov(s) to do this and trumpet their "win" against the evil hedonist Gas.

It's this silence currently that suggests the opposite must be the case.

Nopta saw no reason to decline before. I have no doubt in my mind someone was told.....if you're to recommend again, make it air tight. I'm inclined to think they did just that. There is no wriggle room for the J.A. . Short of some hail mary like special circumstance , and if following protocols , guidelines and LAW the J.A ( read King ) has only one true option.
Delaying it is still the political chicanery of choice. For what end ?
Looking over at the Defence portfolios etc strangely the Elboneses have been quite circumspect and have expedited ( who'd da thunk) a number of positional changes in terms of the shape, form and size of this need/capability. Yes much started by previous lot ...but some rare sense shown in kicking it forward with gusto.

They've set the state now with narratives that not only support gas as required but emboldened it to be a panacea for much.

I would be gobsmacked if the approval wasn't imminent. That's not just my opinion but of quite a few.

The likes of that downhiller ( how appropriate) and others who are now so superfluous to any debate , have been kicked to the kerb. What platform they can muster going forward is curious to me. Perhaps they can't as everything these zealots preach is being shown.to be false ...indeed lies.

An odd thiugh occurred to me. What if instead of having Pep11 approved at a distance King wants to embrace it as the new way forward. What of her political ambition? Might she be THAT clever she could ahow leadership where none else presents ?

    Now THAT'S Politics ....

All conjecture and speculation of course

que sera ; I suspect... mais quand ???
