As Capt et al. have suggested, it's not a surprise that BMW and Merc are the 2 European marquee companies expressing interest in AnteoX. Had they been a surprise, I think the sp might well have exploded rather than the somewhat measured trading we've seen so far.
I also think Warwick's reference to common sense in the article, has enormous appeal for both EV companies and shareholders albeit for different reasons.
No explosion yet, but the fuse seems to have been lit.
