Don't ya just hate those bleached Chinese garlic cloves sold bottled in some aquatic solution of I don't know what.
I have never been game to try 'em and don't think I ever will as I loathe those soft white bleached Chinese garlic heads that abound in the supermarkets.
Fortunately I have a friend who is a garlic freak who grows heaps of the stuff - different varieties he has collected over many years.
Luckily he keeps me supplied as I love garlic.... really hard and juicy .... not like that Chinese rubbish (which I reckon should be banned .... and if not banned boycotted by a public that becomes more and more aware of what the truth is.
