TLS history.Previous CEO's and politicians expectent of big dividends were responsible for dragging TLS down.There was no vision for the company and insufficient investment in new technology,...not to mention the worst rudest service in the world.When Sol took over the reigns it was like handing over command of the Titanic to a new captain seconds before it hit the iceberg.
Sol was faced with addressing all of TLS problems and turning the ship around.He made decisions and announcements regarding his 3 year plan that involved some short term pain. The sp went down accordingly.
Sol's strategy has largely worked and they have kept profitability and growth in a very respectable range, not to mention the significant increase in free cashflow.
TLS currently faces the huge uncertainty of who will govern the country and their respective policy.
Having said all this , Sol cant be described as a man for all seasons and not for the present time, but dont fall into the media trap and misunderstand the enormous contribution he made.
