I don’t follow CXO specifically but a 10 min search brought me up to date.
So you’re comparing a Norther Territory Lithium miner supplying product to Chinese customers in a saturated market in a downturn stage, who’s already recieved upfront prepayments of $111m and have potential legal issues with Tesla.

How in any way can they be compared to Novonix.

Look at it from the US Governments perspective.
Their priority is creating a US / North American supply chain for National Security reasons.
This was initiated by Trumps administration & amplified by Bidens administration.
Novonix were selected for strategic purposes. Harper - Phillips 66 - Kore Power. All part of a closed loop US supply chain.
Doesn’t need to be massive but it needs to be independent from China.

That’s the key difference between NVX & CXO and the reason why Novonix is unlikely to suffer a similar fate.
This is not just about supplying materials for EV’s & ESS.
Look at the bigger picture.
