Reading all that I can about lithium, batteries and EVs etc. Checked the Salar de Atacama on google earth, etc etc.
Apparently, the average EV owner in Australia is male and over 50- that means he is also more likely to be fairly well off- I imagine that they can choose to ignore the EV price premium somewhat- the EV could be in a two or more car household.
China is the biggest EV owner- many are somewhat younger drivers and prefer 'micro' cars. EVs are subsidised there.
I was pondering the above when walking the dog this morning- a young bloke from up the road pulled out and I assume to go to work as young wage slaves do- he just drove normally. The exhaust gave such a beautiful throaty sound for a small sedan. How would you sell him an EV?
Anyway, rambling somewhat, more to learn here. I may buy lithium miners again but perhaps not quite yet.
