I can concur with what Dex says.
when I nealry lost my two youngest sons over 10 yearss ago, our small business had to go into lock down at that stage, but we managed to send out a bulk email to all the people in our contacts and in box saying "Whover your God is, please pray for the boys" (contacts were all over the world)

We had SO much positive reinforcement, and after being told they may not live, the boys now live near normal lives 10 years on. For whatever reason, their time was not up, even after devastating brain injuries.

I am not religious per se, but I consider myself to have what I call a Christian attitude. Do the right thing by others, etc etc...
I believe there is SOMETHING out there - I simply don't know what it is, but don't believe our lives are as simple as birth to death in this one body.

It's too easy to dismiss people that don't go to church or don't believe in God as non Christian, but maybe they have a much better life attitude that a massive percentage of church goers!

Keep an open mind, don't rubbish others' beliefs, and try to keep the peace - that's my basic philosophy.
