I've prayed for healing for your badly injured friend on the hopeful assumption that you and the cycling club would appreciate a prayer to the Lord Jesus. By many reliable accounts, He healed many sick people (and even resurrected dead ones) when He walked this earth, and He would respond to anyone who asked Him for help. However, His faith was far stronger than that of His poor flawed followers both then and now, so I can only hope that He'll make up for any inadequacy in my request.
By the way, if any members of your club are sincerely asking the Lord Jesus for help, then surely they must believe that He lives and has the power and kindness to help them? Isn't it just possible, then, that they are more Christian than they may appear outwardly?
