We are not listening to Govts -we are noting technological developments by private enterprise. The advances in technology -like SpaceX where Govts are buying all their space gear from them which is far less expensive and more advanced than NASA is a classic example.
You are oblivious to the fact that technological developments never progress in a straight line -there will always be setbacks and for commercial reasons there is currently a pause but fast forward several years and the setbacks you think are permanent are nothing but a few problems along the way that had to be solved before the inexorable march forward in electrification.
