The Paducah licence is to produce a maximum of 5 million lb a year and at at 5 million pounds per year production will last for 30 years.

This license was granted when Uranium was cheap and plentiful and the 5 million pound limit was in place to stop a glut of uranium in the market.

How things have changed in 10 years.

It is possible that this license maybe altered in response to the Uranium shortage to allow a higher production rate.

For example 7.5m lb a year for 20 years

Not saying it is likely but it is possible.

GLE would then have to decide what is more profitable, Natural Uranium or enriching other Uranium to a higher grade.
