I've been informed that they're "combining skin substitutes with different concentrations of autologous skin cell suspension in various burn depths to optimise healing and mitigate donor sites."
Your guess is as good as mine as to which skin substitutes (e.g., BTM, suprathel, matriderm, etc) but I think the autologous skin cell suspension is RECELL.
Dr. Carter is a consultant for AVITA and PolyNovo which have both had BARDA funding.
