I didn't realise that the article also quotes the BYD chairman as saying that BYD could potentially acquire Sigma.
When I read this article yesterday I thought it was just a potential offtake agreement being discussed.
Slightly out of left field given the stories for the past month have suggested that it's only VW and CATL in the running for Sigma. This article seems to suggest BYD could end up as the buyer.
