Another outlet for our spod that seems to be slipping through the cracks in these discussions is the Calix JV.

In the announcement back in August, they indicated that construction should be completed by the end of CY24, with commissioning in early CY25 and production by June of 2025.

The initial operation will utilize 27,000 tpa, yielding 3,000 tpa of Lithium Phosphate. Assuming that the plant is successful, there’s no telling how much the plant may be expanded. My understanding of the plant is that much of plant is capable of much more production than the initial capacity, the calcination silo is the bottleneck, and if we desire to expand the capacity, we can do so relatively quickly and easily by adding calcination silos.
