The price of U has been creeping up since late March last year, but it is really spiking now. Which, looking at history, is how it usually takes off. EME has been lagging somewhat until recently.
With a commitment to add more nuclear power in future by several countries, it could be a sustained increase in price.
Our EME holding is not worth a lot, (5.8% of about 34 million) but if sold into this bull market at some point, it may be a nice boost to our cash reserves when it will likely be needed to get McD ready for a deal. I'm fairly sure our management will be looking closely.
