Both Megachips and Renesas are packaging BRN IP into their products for sale to 3rd party manufacturers to start their R&D processes.
In a sense Megachips and Renesas are added-value resellers (or channel partners) acting on behalf of BRN.
However, the real problem is that very few tech manufacturers reveal their secret herbs and spices.
They don't want their competitors to know what they are putting into the black-boxes they are selling. Particularly before they have hit the market.
Similarly, BRN would be under strict instructions "don't tell anyone that you are working with us."
BRN wouldn't get very far if it developed a reputation for kissing and telling.
You are "baffled" because the sales process is deliberately hidden.
