The Russian Federation spend is on war materials and personnel while the West's Ukrainian spend is on War materials, personnel with a major share economically propping up a failed State
Im not a betting person, but if I were, I'd give you 2:1 that the Ukraine will end up a Rump State when the negotiated settlement happens.
For this reason , the war has been an absolute tragedy for the Ukraine and its people and to advocate its continuance without the prospect of success is , as the Germans say, "Schadenfreude"
As the ancient Greeks knew too well : "Man know thy limits (abilities)" and IMO the Ukrainian people ignored that in 2014 and are now paying dearly.
. And from a neutral point of view , so are the Russian people but of course that's why war is tragedy ..........what does one say?
War is the problem....not the solution...
Isn't it rather stupid from both sides point of view to "spend" 100's of thousands of its prime/able citizens for the sake of a perceived advantage at the negotiating table ......it's absurd, IMO.
