“No commander can direct you to take enforcement action against a member of the public. Any decision that you make rests upon you. You have original authority. You need to go and read your statement of values. You need to read your code of conduct and ethics and remember what it is all about. I would invite any officer to go back to an evidence-based analysis of this situation and no longer just read what public health orders are or listen to what the mainstream media tells you. Actually go and do some independent research the evidence."
