I think u are not getting the whole messaging of the public statement.
Firstly, there was no reason to mention the stock adjustment publicly…unless there was an ulterior motive.
Secondly, in addition to the above statement they add how Aust Day was waning in certain sector of our society.
When u combine these two factors, the interpretation by the general public was that the intent was political!
