They earn more from a franchised store. Corporate stores are to ensure brand relevance until someone/franchisee takes over.
Corporate stores are not new to a franchise, but depend on how the scale of corporate stores, it can be problematic.
In DK's case, I understand they are re-entering spaces they have preciously vacated, so yes expect to see them
having a net
store growth first half of 2024 and full year.
