My guess is the idea of corporate stores is to be able to provide new operators with ‘a walking walk out’ business offering. Also, the revenue numbers and other costs will be evident. It reduces the risk if disenchanted operators (like in the past).This has been an area which has resulted in litigation. It reduces that risk significantly.
New operators will also be able to see first hand the performance and where they can ‘trim’ costs particularly the wages costs.
Just some thoughts.
