I don’t think the use of ‘I’ or ‘my company’ is meant as a slight to shareholders, I see it as taking responsibility for the top job.
Also I don’t get the sense that Nick Selby is in the job for personal enrichment. The money would have been similar in his role as the COO, without the added pressure.
I’ve been impressed with Selby. He comes across as smart, authentic and honest. I think Lucapa is in good hands.
