this is part of the article pertinent to NWR by Robin Bromby - pure speculation.
"IN the 1970s, Anglo American produced 70,000oz of gold from the Blue Spec mine located in the Pilbara's Nullagine goldfield. The long-gone Fimiston Mining operated the nearby Golden Spec mine. Since it floated in 2004, Northwest Resources (NWR) has been beavering away with a minimum of publicity at these projects and is now drilling again. Apart from the gold, both projects have antimony whose price has increased ninefold since 2000. Previously, buyers weren't prepared to pay for gold in the antimony concentrates; now they are, and that adds a new dimension to the economics."
