Yes geopolymers have been around for a while. I think the difference here is using waste product that is pretty much free and has the CO2 emissions already covered. the name of the game is GREEN and lower CO2 emissions. The product needs to do the job but have a lower CO2 footprint. This stuff is 50% less than OPC concrete
