Goldman and Macquarie are too big to care about being the go-to-broker for lithium IPOs. Who is unlisted in the lithium space anyway that would want to list, let alone at the bottom of the market?
If I was say Chris Ellison, wanting to list my lithium business, I might perversely go to Goldman Sachs thinking I hate these guys but they can throw my competitors under a bus with a pitch on balance sheet and cost-curve.
