In terms of war. Which side of the battlefield does God reside? If 2 God believing soldiers had each other in there sights which bullet would God bless? I do not personally understand this dilemma. Anyway not really what I wanted to say.

Declaration: I believe in God though 20 years ago I did not. Total non believer. No awareness, no conscience, rugby, surfing, friends, VW's, good clean fun. No big deal. Eat, sleep, work and play, all pretty normal stuff. But something missing??? Then I had an experience that transformed my life. I met a friend who had an experience that was life changing for him. He was a fine cricketer and had played in England, loved cars, worked hard played hard. But something missing? He told me what had happened to him. For some reason that I now understand I responded. And on Oct 10th 1990 I was baptised like Jesus (not in the river Jordan but any water will do) and on Oct 14 1990 after 7 years of searching for answers I recieved the Holy Spirit. For the first time in my life God made sense. Now 20 years later, married, 2 kids and a great life I am left in no doubt. Now I don't comprehend the whole shooting box of what God's form is or what God looks like but Jesus Christ is Gods son. He was miraculously concieved and he reflected God's loving character while on earth and now influences his friends by the Holy Spirit. You have got to be kidding some of you are saying, miraculously concieved, Holy Spirit what a clown. Well throw me 3 balls and a red nose and I'll perform but I believe it to be true. Who Christ was and what he did reflects God's will and character. If you want to find the God that created all things and has the future in his hands then in my experince you will not find a better place to start than asking Jesus Christ to reveal reveal himself to you. It is worthy of note that Jesus was crucified for the things he said and did so don't expect your search to be a popularity contest. It is challenging. The perception that Christians are leaning on a crutch or weak is not my experience. I see my Christian friends show alot of courage as they swim against popular belief.
The worlds dilema is a reflection of mans heart. It is not Gods will. The hungry should be fed, the tears should be wiped away, the lonely should be visited, the fatherless children should have a father, teenagers should have hope but instead suicide rates increase, contentment should replace drugs, love should replace hate.
I don't rave often but your soul is everthing to God. He only had one Son and he allowed him to be crucified to give you life beyond this one. I agree God is misunderstood and misrepresented but there is a way that makes it crystal clear. Seek and you shall find.
