Excellent post buddy, and this is the problem with Telstra moving forward.
It will sack staff in its wholesale business[retrenchment costs will be huge] and employ staff in sales and marketing with this I have no doubt; as it transforms itself from a wholesale business model to a sales and marketing business model.
What this means, I hope the at least slash dividends by at least 50% and look to acquire businesses instead.
Telstra in five years time will not be a utility income stock but a growth stock. With no fixed line income sales of this I have no doubt.
Telstra will need to re-model itself in a sales and marketing giant...and has the cash to do it.
