    I meant fundamentals are astrology for men.

    Technical analysis which include western methods and Japanese candle sticks are better at consolidating various aspects of price action. This would include fundamentals and sentiments. Technical analysis cannot in any way predict price, but perhaps give an edge in trend analysis and above all it is good for risk management. Nothing can predict stock price to any degree of certainty.
