At what point do we continue to justify mourning?
Say there were 1 million aborigines prior to the first fleet arrival.
Then 1000 people came on a boat in 1788.
That's a 0.1% population increase.
Last year we added 200,000 immigrants for a population of 27million.
A 0.7% increase.
Should we mourn every year the population increases due to immigration?
Or is that racist?
Or are aborigines racist?
Personally I think we should celebrate multiculturalism on 26th Jan, to show how inclusive Australia is.
And then the aborigines will be the racist ones.
