Acquiring assets seems a less likely outcome, but Ganfeng did say they wanted to work with Leo in other countries. This would also accord with the very reasonable manner, some might say ‘generous’, approach to dealing with Leo, which is between a rock and a hard place.
Ganfeng may actually want to use Leo to start something new in Australia.
Nice to speculate, but most likely the money will be used to resolve the FFX/government issue once and for all.
