They didn't have it. The new formulation is new. They realised that it was possible to add certain substances to make it easier to use & store. The actual active ingredient is the same. However better results may insue, as their is a better & more even mix now.

The new formula is much more attractive as a commercial product because of its ease of use & storage.

At least that's what I understand.
