It was Sizzle that publicly announced the postponement of the meeting. I don't know that there is evidence that EUR asked them to do this.
On January 18, 2024, Sizzle Acquisition Corp. (“Sizzle”) issued a press release announcing that its special meeting of stockholders (the “Meeting”) to approve its proposed initial business combination, which was originally scheduled for January 23, 2024, has been postponed to 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time, on Wednesday, January 31, 2024.

So EUR could have waited a day and merely referred us to Sizzle's public announcement, not inflicted on us a trading halt justified by an enigmatic : "The trading halt is requested pending an announcement in connection with an update on the NASDAQ merger transaction."
