You realise that it's the Pilbara and not the Kimberley or the Northern Territory? They have a real wet season.
The only reason that drilling wouldn't start soon (weather wise), would be a cyclone appearing on the horizon. While that is always on the cards this time of year it is never certain.
So relax, there are plenty of drill rigs working atm, assuming of course the drillers and crews are back from the Christmas and New Years boozeups (I mean festivities).
