Utopian...learn from a very successful trader...Bernard Baruch...He was a very rich investor and very successful ... He always sold "on the way up"..perhaps when opportunity presents itself at least gradually reduce your exposures. A simple rule "sell half at twice your entry price and a little more each 10% up from there".If you can double your money every year ..it soon mounts up.. .. going for the big big hit is in my view a mugs game ..it's a very very rare event and anyway ...who knows where the top will be ??!!!
