That's a likely scenario.
Additionaly to your scenario - New directors issue themselves a tonne of free options in PET "to motivate them to rebuild the business". If AKP does well then Bart gets some of the profits. If AKP doesn't do well then creditors (Bart, PET (Bart)) can get AKP's assets and leave AKP's shareholders in the cold.
