Spot on as usual JDP.
A few years ago, the risk ranking was:
1. Execution (includes misalignment of management)
2. Successful hostile bid
3. Science
IMO the current risk ranking is:
1. Successful hostile bid
2. Execution (e.g. carelessly dropping fragile test tubes etc)
3. Keyman risk
Thanks to our preclinicals, independent preclinicals, Sheba 1 and 2, science is no longer on the top risks list.
The main questions are:
* whether the new owner would retain RAC's scientists? They'd be crazy not to.
* will the new owner be a listed company? Bad luck for RAC shareholders if they aren't.
