As for the 80k cost difference, is comparing cars that both cost well north of a quarter million dollars relevant in terms of mass ev adoption? you can get decent EVs well under 100k and as low as 40k. Rapidly approaching price parity with ICE.
In terms of subsidies I tend to agree. Until the subsidies support Australian jobs they should exists.
