The chemical plant at KEZAD is permitted. The low value (but high volume) by-products can be sold in UAE.
How long will it take to securing a suitable site and obtain the necessary permits in Europe, USA or any other location?
How long will it take to find new customers for gypsum residue (130 kTpa), amorphous silica (33 kTpa) and sulphate of potash (540 Tpa)?
It seems that some investors are unwilling to accept delays in financing, and may be equally unwilling to halt the current KEZAD chemical plant proposal ni favour of an alternative location.
